Winecup wildflower (Callirhoe involucrata) a very popular wildflower growing in the Hill Country. This one even had a drop to offer!
It can be a bit pushy crowding into neighboring plants. Here it is moving in on a Salvia Gregggii.
But it seems to look good with so many other plants.
And the bees love it too.
