Heike Laudien was born in Namibia and received a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Anthropology and Sociology at University of Cape Town in South Africa.
The African landscape is powerful and full of energy. Heike was aware of many forms of energy while growing up but had no idea what they meant. This led her to a lifeline exploration of these observations, feelings and to a new way to look at and feel the world.
After moving to the United States, Heike began her Reiki training and successfully completed the Master’s Degree of the Usui System of Reiki. She is also continuing to follow her interests in Shamanism and Integrated Energy Therapy (IET). Heike has been working with animals all her life, in shelters, on farms and as pets. She has always had a deep connection to them which she has expanded to being able to read them by looking at photos.
