A whole field of color.<\/p>\n<p>And as I was making my way back to take a peek in the Bluebird nest box I find a lovely surprise&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/sun-dancing.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSCN1293.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-388\" title=\"DSCN1293\" src=\"http:\/\/sun-dancing.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSCN1293-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"http:\/\/sun-dancing.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSCN1293-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/sun-dancing.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSCN1293-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/sun-dancing.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSCN1293-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a>Mommy Bluebird had laid 2 lovely blue little eggs in the new nest. I wish them all the best in raising their new brood. I have seen both mom and dad fiercely defending their nest from House sparrows. So far they are doing a great job. I have registered this nest online with the <a title=\"Nestwatch.org\" href=\"http:\/\/watch.birds.cornell.edu\/nest\/home\/index\">nestwatch.org<\/a> database run by Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
